What we did so far
From February 2017, I started to implement Web 2 tools in my English teaching classes with 7b and 6b classes. I signed up into the free game-based learning platform “Kahoot” and the “Padlet” platform. I explored the opportunities these platforms offer.
I can create and save my own “Kahoot” games and “Padlet” walls in my accounts, so I can return to them any time I need to. Practicing grammar and vocabulary using kahoot makes it fun and attractive to students.

I can use “Padlet” for collaboration, presentation, reflection, for checking homework and more. I use this platform for checking homework and collaboration in project work and group work so far. I can create different designs and that makes the working process more attractive to students.
The colleagues from partner countries watched a lesson with 7b class. I presented a lesson about media and communication vocabulary using “Padlet” for collaboration and group work during the second meeting in Ruse, Bulgaria.
Playing “Kahoot” games improves their comprehensive skills of using grammar rules and vocabulary correctly. Writing and pasting notes on the “Padlet” walls develop students` writing skills. The teacher can monitor their work and learning progress on both of the platforms easily.
How can students develop their speaking skills? I have assigned them tasks to make presentations on different topics: “My class”, “My school”, “My city”, “Traditions in our country”, “Famous people from our city”. Students are working in groups of five preparing them. Students are presenting them in front of the class and that`s the way they develop their speaking skills. So far they have presented presentations about “My class” and “My city”.
Students fine it quite enjoyable speaking in English and presenting the information they have found.

After we returned from the first project meeting in Afioncarahisar in Turkey I started to implement Web 2 tools in my English teaching.
I signed up into the free game-based learning platform “KAHOOT”and explored the opportunities that platform gives.
I chose the game to exercise the grammar that we were studying at that time on the English lessons.
From the first time the students played a Kahoot game online they liked it and they were looking forward to play a Kahoot game again and again.
Playing games in Kahoot platform students improved their skills to use Present Simple Tense correctly. The students gradually gave more and more correct answers and this progress motivated them to continue to become better in English. Everyone wanted to be the winner at the end of the game. Everyone played with a big enthusiasm.Considering the results of the game I can monitor the students learning progress.
During the second project meeting in Ruse in Bulgaria the colleagues from partner countries watched a lesson in English with my students from 5th grade.
We practicedto use correctly the frequency adverbs playing a Kahoot game. It was a great time!
Kahoot game made the lesson more interesting and the learning fun.
